Disco in a Kurta

Lights down, mirrors up

Somebody pass the dancing cup

Silk on my shoulders and a glitter shoe

Chacha on the speaker playing something new

Aunties in a circle doing hands in the air

Cousins making videos from every chair

Bangles going jingle on a funky bass

Twirling my dupatta all over the place

Mehendi on my palms like a disco map

Every single song gets a thunderclap

Turn it, turn it, turn it high

Glitter falling from the sky

Disco in a kurta, mirror on my sleeve

Spinning in the lights till it's time to leave

Grandma's on the floor and she's got the groove

Disco in a kurta, everybody move

DJ bhaiya, don't you stop that tune

We'll be dancing past the moon

Shehnai calling with a disco twist

Nobody leaves till they're on the list

Clap, clap, spin around

Clap, clap, shake the ground

Disco in a kurta, mirror on my sleeve

Spinning in the lights till it's time to leave

Grandma's on the floor and she's got the groove

Disco in a kurta, everybody move

Disco in a kurta

One more round
